Description

At the moment when Atahualpa was about to lose consciousness... memories come back to his mind. Those days when he was a teenager prince, living in Cuzco City; spending time with who was his best friend of all, Antay. Both talking eachother during their free time. Then training together for join to the Emperor's army once they're ready

Memories that give to the fallen emperor some confort when he's facing death by strangulation. He, Atahualpa, when he was sentenced to death by his foreigners captors (under Francisco Pizarro's rule) despite his promise to fill two pieces of gold and silver far reaches his arm extended; he choose to be baptized to avoid being burned alive.

When Pizarro and his cortege leaves the room; one of the officers order to one of the Inca servants waiting there to carry the emperor's body to the nearest church. One of them is Pacha (older), who get close to him. When he see that Atahualpa is still breathing... yet. The emperor keep Pacha quiet to not alert the others, he is already dying.

Silently (for ensuring that no Spanish guard watches them), he removes a single medallion from his clothes. A gold medallion, the only treasure that Atahualpa kept safe from Pizarro's hands. Then he gives it to Pacha. Recognize it, it's "Inti Medallion", the treasure that any Sapa Inca (since Manco Capac) had. A symbol of power.
Pacha understand it, he must give the medallion to Kuzco, to be the new Sapa Inca.
Then Atahualpa's eyes found Pacha's. Smiles weakly. Finally he close his eyes and his breath stops. Emperor Atahualpa is dead.

Pacha takes him respectfully, breaking free from the shackles. He carries him outside, to where the Spanish army are waiting. Pacha said goodbye to Atahualpa, his father's best friend... and the whole world start to said the emperor's farewell.
